The original Swift Darning Loom is already an awesome tool for mending and decorating, and this expansion set lets you do even more! It’s great for covering larger areas, and makes weaving tiny tapestries even easier than before. Plus, the carrying case helps keep all your supplies ready and waiting with no need to go digging through various supply stashes. Highly recommended!
The most lovely product — exactly what I was looking for. This should last forever and will be passed down to a lucky person! I love the touch of the original wood treatment left on the back of the reclaim wood. So sweet…thank you for making such a quality product. Blessings!

This is attractive (love the beautiful grain), well made, and will work very well for my inkle loom. (My “weaving” right now consists of darning my wool socks with a small darning loom. This is oversized for that tiny loom.)
So far I've been looming beautiful pieces of fabric to do repairs on things that I can't get behind to darn. It's brilliant and I can't wait to try some tiny woven tapestries.
The loom was easy to use. I mended socks, and jeans. A little bit tough on the jeans fabric to anchor the needle, but I enjoyed the task.
Such a wonderful loom- love that it is made with recycled materials- the included booklet and youtube videos provide excellent guidance to get started with darning!
Overall, I love the way it's designed. It's going to take me awhile to get familiar with using the loom. Only issue I've had so far was the shuttle tip broke off during my first use. It's still usable as long as I use the other end to guide. I would also like to see you post some videos about using the loom and starting projects with the loom.
Justin, sorry to hear that about your shuttle, though I'm glad you're otherwise enjoying your loom set. This sounds like a manufacturing defect, so if you would like us to send you a replacement please send me an email!
I have a few videos up about weaving with the loom, though I am happy to share that I did just finish my 'how to weave' guide book! It will be available soon both digitally and in hard copy.
keep on learning new things !! ❤️✨

Easily one of my most loved possessions the craftsmanship, the sound, the beauty and charm of this look makes every mend a joyous experience. I really love this and am happy to be able to use it for years to come
Perfect for larger mending areas and making bookmarks, and doing small weaves :)
I’ve used the Speedweve, not to knock the brand, however discovering the Swift Darning Loom I’m almost encouraging holes in my sweaters (not really but..).
The bespoke design that’s finely sanded doesn’t snag sweaters and the stainless steel hooks don’t get stuck (sorry Speedweve 😬)making the mending a treat. The weft pick is a game changer and just darling.
I also purchased the Extra Long Work Surface .. great for jeans and creative designs. Thank you Elyssa & Scott for a beautifully design and practical product.
Exacly what I was looking for! Easy to use, I mended my first piece of clothing with ease thanks to the great tutorial. Great quality! I avant-midi very pleased with it!
I have to say that I have no previous experience in anything sewing-related, and I thought I was going to have some trouble, but that was not the case. This mending loom is super easy to use. Also, I have to add that when I got it out of the package, something I loved was the smell of the wood. The product also feels so soft. Overall, I would say it's worth the price!
Thank you Elisha and Scott for creating this fabulous tool - Swift Darning Loom. So many garments that end up in the landfill sites could be mended easily. I admire you - you are a part of the solution!
I love my Swift Darning Loom. It's beautiful, fun to use, and totally worth the price because I think I'll be enjoying it for the rest of my life.
Everything is perfect! Thank you! I love my little mending tool! Just one thing : because I live in Belgium I had to pay an additionnal 100€ as custom taxes to receive my order. Absolutely not your fault, our custom laws are terrible to say the least...
But it was an unpleasant surprise.
Cléa, thank you for your positive review despite your experience with the customs fees. Thank you for sharing the full cost - this will be helpful for anyone else ordering to Belgium! As you know, we (neither us at Worth Mending nor you yourself) have control over those fees and they do vary from country to country. We do our best to inform international customers about this possibility, but I am sorry for the surprise.

This loom is so easy and fun to use. Really thoughtful design and it feels very high quality. I love everything about it.
I actually get excited when I see holes in my socks :) Couldn't recommend it more!
I haven't had the little loom for very long, and have been practicing on the many holes in my spouse's "house" sweater and it's getting easier and easier to do. I'm excited to try it with other items that need repair and have been languishing in forgotten corners.
